In this study, the authors aim to facilitate the creation of dynamic prototypes from web page sketches. They introduce a set of symbols that designers can use to model dynamic behaviors, such as links, buttons, or dropdown menus, and a related implementation to generate dynamic prototypes. Current methods only allow for the creation of static prototypes, but this approach enables designers to create more interactive and responsive designs. The authors test their method on a few sketched components to assess the suitability of the approach, showing promising results in streamlining the design process.
